These books provide follow-up practice in reading words and sentences, which leads to increased fluency development. They contain all the dictation words and sentences from Phonics First® Foundations for Reading and Spelling, including Red Words and Red Word sentences. Additional sentences for every lesson have been added for further practice. Student Book A supports Foundations lessons in Layers 1 and 2 and includes short, controlled-text stories for Layer One. Student Book B supports Layers 3 and 4. |
