Individualized Tutoring

Private tutoring guides each student to progress at their individual pace, ensuring that material is mastered at a rate appropriate for each learner. The tutor is able to fine-tune every lesson to the student's instructional level. 100% of the tutor's expertise is focused on the distinctive academic needs of the individual student.

Student Assessment

RLAC offers a Basic Skills Assessment, which evaluates the range of an individual's skill in relation to decoding, encoding/spelling, reading fluency, and comprehension to determine a plan of action for the student.

RLAC's programs are diagnostic in nature, which enables tutors to determine, on an ongoing basis, the skill areas to address.

Progress reports, which provide feedback and set future goals, are written every three months during the course of tutoring.
